FPL Predictor: Predicted Points
Use the free FPL points predictor to compare expected minutes, captain options and player returns for the next 1, 3 or 5 gameweeks.
Data updates
This view is prepared once a day. Official player facts and results are checked separately from model forecasts. A newer official-data check does not mean the predictions have been regenerated. Check the generation timestamp before using a forecast.
xP means expected FPL points. Double-gameweek fixtures are summed; proved blanks show zero. Totals stay unavailable if any gameweek is missing. Forecasts come from one saved run, with exact player and fixture checks, and cover at most five upcoming gameweeks.
How to use the FPL points predictor
Compare predicted points over the next 1, 3 or 5 gameweeks. Expected points (xP) are an estimate of a player's FPL score over the selected period. Check expected minutes, filter your shortlist or squad, and compare captain options for the next gameweek.
Forecasts are estimates, not guaranteed scores. Check the forecast timestamp and gameweek window, and weigh expected minutes, injuries and fixture difficulty alongside the point estimates.

FPL predicted points explained
What does an FPL points prediction mean?
Expected points (xP) estimate a player's average FPL return over the selected gameweeks. A prediction of 5.0 points is an average across possible outcomes, not a promise of a five-point score. Compare players over the same period and check expected minutes alongside points.
How are predicted points calculated?
The model weighs the chances of starting, coming on as a substitute and not playing. It estimates appearance points, goals, assists, clean sheets, saves, defensive contributions and bonus, with scoring deductions. Upcoming fixtures and expected minutes affect the estimate. The forecast timestamp above tells you when these predictions were generated.
How do I use the FPL predictor for captain picks?
Choose a one-gameweek horizon and compare your captain candidates. The player table shows base expected points; captain comparisons show doubled points. Check expected minutes and start chances before deciding. A small points gap is not a confident prediction that one player will outscore another.
How can I compare two players for a transfer?
Search for each player, add them to your shortlist and select Compare selected. You can compare up to three players across searches. Use three or five gameweeks for a longer view, then check price and expected minutes. Predicted points alone do not account for your transfer hit or the rest of your squad.
Check FPL player statistics and comparisons, upcoming fixture difficulty and recent player form alongside the forecast.
Are blank and double gameweeks included?
Predicted points add the fixtures in each gameweek. Confirmed blanks show zero; a double includes both fixtures. Missing forecasts stay unavailable, so an incomplete period is not presented as a complete total. The tool covers at most five upcoming gameweeks.
Is the FPL predictor free?
